He was predeceased by: his parents, Minnie Smith Long and John William Long; and his wife Vicky Joanne Wilkinson Long. He is survived by: his children, Amy L. Daniel (Chris) of Kannapolis and Mark L. Long; his girlfriend Michele Hayes of Concord; his sister Jane Wood (Gary) of Kannapolis; his granddaughter Megan V. Windham (Will) of Harrisburg; his aunt Ina Sheffield; and his great grandchildren, Kendric Windham and Isabella Windham. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
