He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Felton Litaker and Helen Armstrong Litaker. He is survived by: his sons, John Matthew Litaker and Casey Lee Litaker (Christina); his grandsons, Cooper Lee Litaker and Porter Barringer Litaker; his sisters, Linda Turner (Doug) and Brenda Hodgens (Jimmy); and his aunt Mildred Litaker Wall. He is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews.
