He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilmer Leeander Harris and Pauline Cornelia Garrett Harris; and his brothers, Jerry and Clifford. He is survived by: his children, Laura Harris Walker of Decatur, GA and Richard Harris (Rashida) of Concord, NC; his brothers, Ron Harris (Mary) of Cleveland, TN and Bob Harris (Patty) of Duluth, GA; and his grandchildren, Grant Walker and Aleeza Harris. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Church of God Children's Home of NC, 3485 Orphanage Circle, Concord, NC 28027.
