It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Allman (Concord, North Carolina), who passed away on December 14, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. As we bid Larry farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Larry is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Hunter Allman and Goldia Cheek Allman; and his stepchildren, Kim Griffin and Scott Hagler. He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Cooke Allman; his pet Mason; and his stepgranddaughter Jada Griffin.
