He was predeceased by: his parents, Needham Perry Wilson and Pauline Hughes Wilson; and his brothers, Randall Wilson and Wilson. He is survived by: his wife Dianne Freeman Wilson; his daughters, Pamela Wheet (Tim) and Patti Earnhardt (Tim); his grandchildren, Andrew Wheet, Matthew Wheet (Abby), Holly Wheet, Katherine Earnhardt (Connor) and Emily Earnhardt; and his great grandchild Delilah Wheet. He is also survived by two daughters, five grandchildren, and one special great- granddaughter.
