He was predeceased by: his parents, John McLean and Merriam Ransburg McLean. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie McLean of Concord, NC; his children, Kurt Dietrich (Jean) of Matthews, NC, Jennifer Dietrich of Moseley, VA and Catherine Konsoer (David) of Hinsdale, IL; and his brother Jeffrey McLean of Asheville, NC.. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
