He is survived by: his wife Martha "Marty" Christensen Gandy; his children, Debby Gandy Cox (Richard) of Graham, NC, David Gandy (Marie) of Concord and Donnie Gandy of Concord; and his grandchildren, Kyle Gandy (Haley) of Concord, Mikayla Aistrop (Chris) of Hampton, VA, Luke Gandy of Concord, Sara McAllister (Drew) of Conway, SC, William Cox (Lila Dunn) of Boston, MA, Ryan Cox of Graham, NC, LaVance of Concord and Cameron LaVance of Camp Lejeune, NC.. He is also survived by his family and friends.
