It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Kelly Hudson of Concord, North Carolina, born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on December 26, 2022, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Robert Erskine Catherwood and Billie Dudley Hoffman; her granddaughter Maddie; her husband Joe; her daughter Lauren Beth Hudson; her granddaughter Madeline Catherwood Hudson; her brother Christopher Dudley Catherwood (Laura); her siblings-in-law, Richard Scott Hudson (Lynda) and Lisa Hudson Linker; her mother-in-law Shirley P. Hudson; and her nieces and nephews, Kelsey Catherwood Hayes (Josh), Avery Arlene Catherwood, Maggie Leigh Catherwood, Ian Richard Hudson and Chelsea Elise Hudson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials in Kelly's honor be sent to Cabarrus County Educational Foundation, checks payable to CCEF at 4401 Old Airport Road, Concord, NC 28025 or to the Central Carolina Association of Realtors Scholarship Fund at 250 Branchview Drive, Concord NC 28025.
