He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Kepley Barringer and George E. Barringer, Sr.. He is survived by: his wife Betty Halsey Barringer; his daughters, Kimberly Barringer Breuer (Dan) and Amy Barringer Hartz (Dan McDonough); his granddaughters, Amethyst Hartz Denney, Ashlyn Breuer and Kylie Breuer; his great grandchild Aubrey Denney; and his siblings, Sharon Barbee (William), Patricia Robinson (Kenneth), Edward Barringer (Terry) and David Barringer (Vicki Gee). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Hermon Lutheran Church in his memory.
