With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Juneious Walter Spears Jr. (Concord, North Carolina), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 15, 2024 at the age of 89. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. W. Spears, Sr. (Grace Whittington Spears) and Heaven. He is survived by: his brother Craig; his wife Ruby Parker Spears; his son David Christopher Spears (Suzette); his grandsons, Jon Scott of Siler City and Tanner Scott of Concord; his nephews, Michael Spears (Janice) of Apex, Mark Newsome (Monica) and Jeff Newsome; his sister Sylvia Spears Newsome; his caregiver Alison Asheedy, RN; his family John; and his sons, Tyler and Grant (Football). He is also survived by great nieces, cousins, nephews and great grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Visitation was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Calendar Flow Harris Presbyterian Church (308 Winecoff School Rd, Concord, NC 28027).
The family suggests that instead of flowers, Memorials can be made to the following: Flow Harris Presbyterian Church, 308 Winecoff School Rd., Concord, NC 28027; or Northwest Cabarrus High School Bible Teaching Association, P O Box 3242, Concord, NC 28025.
