He is survived by: his wife Mary Rayfield Redman; his sons, Jeffery Redman (Melissa) and Joseph David Redman, Jr. (Tara); his siblings, Shirley Dagenhart, Annette Cook (Dean Redman) and Howell Redman; his grandchildren, Mallory, Angela, Tiffany, Sarah Redman, Madison Smith and Clay Walker; and his great grandchild Walker Smith.
