She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Mae House Barnette and Ulysses Jackson; her children, James House and Ann Waters Griffin (Kenny); her sister Maxine House Posey; and her grandchild Tyesha Graham.
She is survived by: her children, Doreen Hunter (Scott), Cynthia Dunlap (Maurice) and Calvin Cooke (Siobhan); her siblings, Maggie Williams (Fla), Otis House, Joanne House, David Lee House, Norris House, Anna Jackson, Melvin Jackson (Raleigh) and David Jackson (SC); and her grandchildren, Jason House, Rashad House, Kadeem Graham, Chyla Cooke, Destiny Hunter, Tiffany Dunlap and Trey Dunlap.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mt. Calvary Holy Church (401 Lincoln St SW, Concord, NC 28025). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
