With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Caldwell Sherrill Jr. of Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on January 31, 2023 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Virginia Driggers Sherrill; his wife Jean Carol Freeze Sherrill; and his siblings, Juanita Blackwelder and Sonny Sherrill. He is survived by: his daughters, Debra Matthews (Jeff) of Boonville, NC and Tracy Sherrill (Lori Kent) of Hickory, NC; his sister Geraldine "Jerry" Furr (Arnold) of Concord; his grandchildren, Piper Montgomery (Lisa Burdette), Mac Hanson (Karlie), Casey Mason (Brandon) and Morgan Matthews; his great grandchildren, Lenora Hanson and Messer Hanson; and his pet O'Malley "Scooter".
