She was predeceased by: her spouse Donnie R. Brooks; her granddaughter Lauren Elizabeth Burden; her parents, Auburn Fowler and Judith Fowler; and her brother Tommy Fowler.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Brooks (Jenn) of Tampa, FL and Shannon Brooks Kvist (Benji) of Albemarle, NC; her granddaughters, Delaney and Caitlin Brooks; her great grandchildren, Kenley, Julia and Harrison Hash; and her siblings, Marshall Fowler (Gloria), Barbara Fowler Garmon and Shirley Fowler. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Whitley's Funeral Home (1748 Dale Earnhardt Blvd, Kannapolis, NC 28083). A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Whitley's Funeral Home Chapel (1748 Dale Earnhardt Blvd, Kannapolis, NC 28083). A burial will be held on Friday, October 11th 2024 at 3:15 PM at the Carolina Memorial Park (601 Mt Olivet Rd, Concord, NC 28025).
