With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jimmy Allen Drye of Concord, North Carolina, born in Johnson City, Tennessee, who passed away on February 26, 2023 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Allen Drye and Frances Hoover Rhoads. He is survived by: his wife Nellie Yvonne Stiles Drye; his children, Sherry Yvonne Blackwell of Concord, Shan Allen Drye (Glenda) of Charlotte and Sandy Kip Drye (Robin) of Salisbury; his grandsons, Robert Dean Broome of Locust and William Daniel Blackwell of Concord; his great grandchild Addie Grace Broome of China Grove; and his brother-in-law Jack Stiles of Batesburg, SC. He is also survived by numerous nephews and nieces.
