With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jerry Ronald Mauney of Concord, North Carolina, born in Charlotte, North Carolina, who passed away on August 5, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Pauline White Mauney and Dick Mauney; his grandmother Vicie Mayhew White; and his sisters, Doris Anderson and Phyllis Goodson.
He is survived by: his wife Vera Marion Wignall of Concord; his children, Belinda Smith (Todd) of Charlotte, Steve Mauney (Violet) of Charlotte, Jeff Mauney (Devin) of Monroe and Melody Schillig (Corey) of Columbus; his grandchildren, Devin, Justin, Zak, Kaylee, Dawson, Noah and Sam; and his great grandchildren, Mason, Harrison, Payton, Michael, Eli, Tucker, Joshua and Weston.
