With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janell Eng of Concord, North Carolina, born in Kings Mountain, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 26, 2024 at the age of 88. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Herman and Irene Gaffney Medlin; her husband Donald R. Eng; and her brother Roy Medlin. She is survived by: her daughters, Kimerly E. Haberman (Scot) and Kelley E. Carpenter (Jeff); her grandchildren, Sydney and Sam Haberman; her stepgrandchildren, Casie and Jeffery Carpenter; her stepgreat-grandchildren, Annabelle, Hudson and Hannah; and her siblings, Judy Champion, Libby Roberts and Jimmy Medlin (Mary).
