He was predeceased by: his parents, George Cleveland Stone and Ruth Duke Stone; his siblings, Billy Stone, Milton Stone, William Stone of Tommy Stone and Frances Barnes; his grandchildren, Erica Parsons, Kerrey Brindle and Kyle Brindle; and his son-in-law Randall Ashley.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Barbee Stone; his daughters, Tammy Bost (Landon), Robin Ashley of Concord and Casey Parsons of Florida; and his sister Maggie Sehorn of Concord. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
