It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Maxton Elliott of Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on April 12, 2023, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father James Houston Elliott; his half-siblings, Cleron Robert Elliott and Pauline Elliott Haggerty; and his nephew David Robert Elliott. He is survived by: his wife Mattie Cagle Elliott; his grandson Max; his daughters, Lee Elliott Rambo (William) of Columbia and Nancy Elliott Mukundan (Srini) of Plymouth, Massachusetts; his grandchildren, Thomas Janak Mukundan, Dev Carter Mukundan, Elizabeth Elliott Rambo and William Dargan Rambo; and his nephew C. Ervin Feemster of Tennessee.
