He was predeceased by: his father Arthur James; and his brothers, Larry and Alvin Drye. He is survived by: his children, Jeremy Scott Drye and Deanna Lee Drye; his sisters, Connie Goodman, Zelly James, Cindy Drye and Holly Drye; and his grandson Matthew "Austin" Coppedge. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
