She is survived by: her husband Robert Wheeler; her son John Wheeler; her sisters, Clivia Chin and Jennifer Licorish; her children, Cassandra Short and Charmion Baez; her grandchildren, Chris Jackson, Kimberly Nathaniel, Amanda Short, Tamara Reyes, Melissa Minami, Ashley Baez, Alexander Baez, Elijah Wheeler and Lillian Wheeler; and her great grandchildren, Eliana Reyes, Zayn Reyes, Sebastian Minami and Jalissa Pressley.
She will be remembered for her many contributions to the Caribbean American community, her warm personality, and infectious laugh that could be heard from miles around.
