With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard Tarlton Jr. of Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on August 24, 2024 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Tarlton Sr. and Eula Motley Tarlton; and his significant other Jatana Smith Tarlton. He is survived by: his son Scott Tarlton (Lori); his grandson Brandon Tarlton; his siblings, Linda Poole (Ronnie), Nancy Campbell (Preston), Tony Tarlton (Jane) and Tommy Smith (Jennifer); and his aunt Josie Love. He is also survived by his family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice and Palliative Care of Cabarrus County, 5003 Hospice Lane, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
