She was predeceased by: her parents, Gladys Wham Hendley and Alvis Eugene Hendley; and her husband George Albert Griffin. She is survived by: her children, Elizabeth Sandling (Joe) of Raleigh, Frances Foley (Tim) of Concord and Kenneth Allen Griffin (Leslie) of Concord; her grandchildren, Jennifer Foley Sbarra (Luke) of Charlotte, Heather Foley Queler (Adam) of Gastonia, George Timothy Griffin of Concord, Molly Murphy of St. Petersburg and Sara Murphy Doyle (Ian) of Concord; her great grandchildren, Jonathan, Matthew Queler, Emilia, Henry Sbarra and Felix Doyle; and her friend Nancy Griffin. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
