She was predeceased by: her parents, Wayman Armstrong, Sr. and Helen Seay Armstrong. She is survived by: her husband Sam of Newport, NC; her daughters, Pam Carriker (Jan) of Emerald Isle, NC and Melinda Watson (Paul) of Cedar Point, NC; and her sister Nancy Pate of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great -great nieces and nephews.
