She was predeceased by: her parents, Berry Gray and Dilcy Gray; her husband Jack; and her siblings, Richard, Willie, Berry, William, Dora, Flossie and Dorothy.
She is survived by: her children, James Batts (Michelle) of Indian Trail, NC and Martricia Lynch of Concord, NC; her grandchildren, Thomas Resper of Greensboro, NC, Akysia Resper of Kannapolis, NC, Joshua Batts (Angel) of Charlotte, NC, Caleb Batts of Fort Mill, SC, Marcus Batts of Greensboro, NC and Brionna Lynch of Fayetteville, NC.; and her great grandchildren, Kaleyah Resper of Harrisburg, NC, Joziah Batts of Charlotte, NC and Ayla McLean of Fayetteville, NC.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
