He was predeceased by: his wife Janie Marie; his parents, Oscar Julian (Pat) and Mary Kathryn Ford; and his brothers, Eugene (Tink) and Lamar (Ricky).
He is survived by: his sons, Kevin (Delaine) of Belmont and Jeff (Kristen); his grandchildren, Bradley (Larissa) of Concord, Brandon (Christine) of Midland, Zachary (Rachel) of Belmont and Anna (Connor Cherry) of Gastonia; his great grandchildren, Bryson, Easton, Wyatt, Levi, Shiloh, Callahan, Olive, Henry and Rylan; his brother Kenneth (Connie) of Concord; and his sister-in-law Karen of Concord. He is also survived by niece, nephews and several great nephews, and a great niece.
