With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold Douglas Thomas Sr. of Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on October 10, 2023 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Clifton John Thomas and Ada Austin Thomas; his former wife Joyce Ann Phillips Thomas; his sons, Todd and Ricky Thomas; and his grandson Ben Thomas.

He is survived by: his wife Bernice Jean Thomas; his sons, Douglas Thomas (Martha) of Kannapolis, Phillip Thomas (Jolette) of Kannapolis and Bennit Thomas (Kim) of Concord; and his stepdaughter Deborah Bradley (Jerry) of Concord.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers; memorials be made to Homestead Baptist Church, 105 W 22nd St, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
