He was predeceased by: his parents, Electra Foster Padgett and Joseph Janna Padgett; his son Harley Kennedy "Ken" Padgett; and his siblings, Evelyn Motley and Ira Padgett (Vernon Padgett).
He is survived by: his wife Jewell Sunshine Kennedy Padgett; his daughter Janna Dawn Padgett; his grandchildren, Cydney McGhee (Todd) and Mackenzie Stephens (Seth); his great grandchild Kellen McGhee "Rinky Dink"; and his sister-in-law Pat Pait. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Wilkinson Funeral Home (100 Branchview Dr NE, Concord, NC 28025). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Carolina Memorial Park (601 Mt Olivet Rd, Concord, NC 28025). A burial was held on Saturday, November 30th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
