She was predeceased by: her parents, George Byers, Sr. and Hilda Reid Byers; and her brother George Byers, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Lindsey Smith, Sr.; her sons, Lindsey Smith, Jr. of Concord, NC and Stevie Smith of Concord, NC; her grandchildren, Ayanna Smith, Zaire Smith and Madden Smith; and her siblings, Linda B. Bennett of Concord, NC and Alphonze Reid of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by in-laws, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
