He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto Allen and Maude Adams Allen; and his sister Margaret Goddard. He is survived by: his wife Diane Hamilton Allen of Concord, NC; and his sons, George Jr. Allen of Concord, NC, Bill Allen of Kannapolis, NC, Bob Allen of Lake Lure, NC and Jim Allen of Harrisburg, NC.. He is also survived by his seven grandchildren.
