It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Fred Franklin Steen Sr. of Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on June 30, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Frank Steen and Bessie Clanton Steen; his wife Bettye Huffman Steen; and his siblings, Ralph, Harry, Buise, Grady, Guy Steen, Lillian and Rachel.

He is survived by: his sons, Fred Steen and Brad Steen (Wendy) of Rockwell; his grandchildren, Blake Steen (Shannon) of Kannapolis, Blair Steen Honeycutt (Dwight) of China Grove and Drew Steen of Rockwell; and his great grandchildren, Tristan, Braden and Landon.
