He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Hartsell and Edna Hartsell; his siblings, Bill Buff, Pauline Buff Barbee, Louise Hartsell, Grover Hartsell and Edward Hartsell; and his son-in-law Chuck Sigler.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Helen McCachren Hartsell; his daughters, Marie Sigler (Chuck) and Cathy Eudy (Jeff); his grandchildren, Brandon Eudy (Dana), Amanda Eudy Beckley (Seth), Jacob Sigler (Teka), Stephen Sigler (Maddison) and Samuel Sigler; and his great grandchildren, Nathan, Clara Eudy, Addison, Charlotte Sigler, James, Quinn Beckley and Boone Sigler.
Visitation was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the Harrisburg Presbyterian Church (4815 State Hwy 49, Harrisburg, NC 28075). A memorial service was held on Sunday, April 13th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.
