She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Luther Pless and Ezella Mae Hathcock Pless; her husband James Edward Raye; her son James Raye Jr.; and her siblings, Blanche Ramseur, May Baker, Joe, Henry, John, Paul and Warren Pless.

She is survived by: her son Michael Luther Raye; her grandchildren, Jennifer Litaker (Jess) and Chris Raye (Yolanda); and her great grandchildren, Sophie, Ellie, Izzy Litaker, Tyler and Isaac Raye.
