She was predeceased by: her mother Carrie Thompson Love; and her husband Lee Jay Yow. She is survived by: her children, Sylvia H. Crayton (Jerry) of Concord, Jackie R. Hooks (Jackie Ann) of Concord and Billy Hooks (Lynn) of Concord; and her grandchildren, Donna Hurlocker, Scotty Burleyson, Amber Sullivan, Jackie Hooks, Jr., Melissa Hooks, Matthew Hooks, Jacob Hooks, Kim Cartrett, Ronnie Hooks, Johnny Hooks, Jr. and Michael Hooks. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
