She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Luther Hall and James Hall; her grandson Bryan Simpson; and her sisters, Carol Bost and Louise Furr.
She is survived by: her husband Boyce Theodore Simpson, Sr.; her sons, Boyce "Buddy" Theodore Simpson Jr. (Tina), Scott Simpson (Kim) and James "Jimmy" Simpson (Kristy); her sister Brenda Sossaman; her grandsons, Matthew Simpson (April), Cory Simpson (Matt), Noah Simpson and Nickolas Simpson; and her great grandchild Ivey Simpson. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:45 AM at the Bethlehem Baptist Church (42 Liske Ave NW, Concord, NC 28027). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 from 12:15 PM to 12:45 PM at the Carolina Memorial Park (601 Mt Olivet Rd, Concord, NC 28025).
