With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Elizabeth Ann Adcock Chambers in Concord, North Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 8, 2025 at the age of 82. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alline Adcock and Sam Adcock; her aunt Florence Elizabeth "Bibby" Cobb; her brother Jimmy Adcock; her husband Jim Chambers; her daughter Sheila Adams Hinson; and her son-in-law William Rowell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Rowell Day and Susanne Adams Burdick; her son-in-law Donnie Day; her grandchildren, Ashley Hinson, Cooper Hinson (Makayla West), Elizabeth Hinson Szwast (Gerard Szwast), Ethan Rowell, Marianne Wood, Samantha Burdick (Justin Kranz), Linnea Burdick (Brock Law) and Hannah Burdick; and her great grandchildren, Luna Kranz and Nora Ann Szwast.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you honor Elizabeth Ann's legacy by spreading love, joy, and laughter like wildflowers—and above all, by living life to the fullest.
