It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edd Thomas Furr Sr. of Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on August 5, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleveland Monroe Furr and Vadie Martha McClelland Furr. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Lewis Furr; his children, Edd T. Furr, Jr. (Martha) of Davidson and JoAnn F. Plott (Dane) of Concord; his grandchildren, Sidney, Stevie, Samantha Plott and Shawn Johnson; and his great grandchildren, Kya and Kalea Johnson.
