It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Marie Wilburn of Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on February 3, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father Boyd Columbus Blackwelder; her husband Carlton Floyd Wilburn; her son Gary Wilburn; her granddaughter Mandy Wilburn; her great grandchild Steven Haggerty; and her sisters, Betty Safrit and Shirley Burris.
She is survived by: her children, Lisa Wilburn of Concord, Barbara "Bobbie" Womble (Van) of Concord, Eric Wilburn of Concord, Darren Wilburn (Ashley) of Concord, Carlton Wilburn Jr. of Concord and Michael Wilburn (Debbie) of Concord; and her brother Gene Blackwelder (Jessie). She is also survived by 11 Grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren.
