He was predeceased by: his parents, Waldo Fink and Connie Pressley Shinn; his wife Doris Stancil Shinn; and his brothers, Edward Shinn and Jerry Shinn.
He is survived by: his daughters, Sherree Grimstead of Mooresville and Lori Williams (Tommy) of Lake Butler, FL; his grandchildren, Ashley, Caleb and Clint; his great grandchildren, Levi, Will, Grace and Abigail; and his siblings, Mike Shinn, Wayne Shinn, Malcolm Shinn, Reba Bryan, Sylvia Stancil, Darlene Bilderback and Terra Moon. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
