He was predeceased by: his parents, William Allen Carroll and Patty Daisy Carroll; and his siblings, Patsy Ruth Carroll, William Carroll and Barry Carroll.

He is survived by: his wife Esther Carroll; his daughter Gwendolyn Carroll; and his extended family, Scott, Nancy and Oksana Starcher. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
