Dolores Dobson Smith Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 14, 2025, at the age of 89, Dolores Dobson Smith (Concord, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Thomas Dobson and Ola Lee Harris Dobson; her siblings, Retha, Virginia, Jerald and Baxter; and her daughter Tracy.
She is survived by: her husband Carl Bernard Smith; her sons, Matt and Joe; her brother-in-law Phillip Walters; and her son-in-law Chuck Bridgers. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Gilwood Presbyterian Church (2993 Odell School Rd, Concord, NC 28027). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 from 3:45 PM to 4:45 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to Gilwood Presbyterian Church Building Fund, or to Hospice of Cabarrus County.
