She was predeceased by: her father Homer Boyd; her husband Carl E. Burris; her daughter Renee Wilson; and her siblings, Darrell Boyd and Patsy Harris.
She is survived by: her sons, Jimmy Riley, Jeff Riley, Dwayne Riley, Donnie Riley and Sammy Mullis, Jr.. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren, and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:45 PM at the Wilkinson Funeral Home (100 Branchview Dr NE, Concord, NC 28025). A graveside service was held on Friday, December 27th 2024 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Carolina Memorial Park (601 Mt Olivet Rd, Concord, NC 28025).
