She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Wensil and Ethel McQueen Wensil; her husband Sammy Neal Ashburn; her sister Linda Seagraves; her brother-in-law Bobby Seagraves; and her brother Gene Wensil.
She is survived by: her children, Neal G. Ashburn (Sonya) and Amy Lou Yow; her grandchildren, Brittany Christy (Dylan Weatherly), Nathan Yow, Constance "Kenzie" Yow, Shelby Ashburn and Garrett Ashburn; her great grandchildren, Ella and Kol Weatherly; her brother Jerry "Adam" Wensil; and her niece Tami Specht. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting memorial contributions in Connie's memory to Atrium Health Hospice & Palliative Care Cabarrus, 5003 Hospice Ln, Kannapolis, NC 28081.
