He was predeceased by: his wife Juanita Sherrill Blackwelder. He is survived by: his son Chip Blackwelder (Ann) of Concord; his granddaughters, Kellie Miller (Stephen), Katherine Clymer (Tommy) and Elizabeth McCarthy (Daniel); and his great grandchildren, Harrison, Averie, Charlie Miller, Delia Clymer and Madison McCarthy. He is also survived by grandfather and great-grandfather.
