He was predeceased by: his parents, Osborne Earl Baker, Sr. and Betty Harris Baker; and his siblings, Osborn Earl Baker, Jr., Billy Baker, Evelyn Renfrow and Marion Privette.
He is survived by: his wife Sylvia Buck Baker; his daughters, Linda B. Smith (Blair), Jessica Baker and Beverly Miller (Rod); and his grandchildren, James Baker, Jeremy Baker, McLain Miller, Avery Miller, Aaron Smith and Andrew Smith.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to First Baptist Church, 109 W. Morrow Ave., Monroe, NC 28112.
