It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Lou Myers West (Concord, North Carolina), who passed away on February 13, 2025, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though Betty Lou Myers may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Betty Lou Myers touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Victor Myers and Nellie Faye Horne; her sister Bobbie; her husband Everett West; and her children, Vic (late Deb), Linda (Bobby), Frank (Vicki), Johnny (Rachel) and Grady.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:00 PM at the Core Community Church (11525 Lower Rocky River Rd, Concord, NC 28025). A celebration of life was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location.
