She was predeceased by: her father Lum Croson Furr; her husband Alfred Rayvon McDonald; and her siblings, Rachel Helms, Bobby H. Furr and J. C. Buster Furr.
She is survived by: her mother Ruby Lee Furr; her children, Janet Drye (Terry) of Concord, NC, Phil McDonald (Cindy) of Concord, NC, Tony McDonald (Wendy) of Concord, NC and Steve McDonald (Tina) of Concord, NC; and her sisters, Geneva Garmon (Don) of Easley, SC and Avie Helms (Lewis) of Concord, NC.. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Oak Ridge Baptist Church (5340 Flowes Store Rd, Concord, NC 28025). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Oak Ridge Baptist Church of Concord (5340 Flowes Store Rd, Concord, NC 28025).
