It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bernice Shrewsbery of Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on January 2, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Dollie "Dottie" Mae Cornett Rotenberry and Arthur Wade Rotenberry; her former husband Howard Mullins; her great grandchildren, Remington Alexander Kish and Josiah James Rush; and also, Earl Shrewsbery, Sonny Rotenberry, Jack Rotenberry, Johnny Rotenberry, Arthur Rotenberry Jr., Ernest Rotenberry, Wayne Rotenberry, Mandy Cook and Josephine Noe.
She is survived by: her children, Debra Cartwright (Rich) of Morgantown, WV, Susan Kish (David) of Concord, NC, Curtis Mullins (Gaye) of Martinsville, VA and Jeffrey Mullins (Mellony) of Summerfield, FL; her stepchildren, Frank Shrewsbery (Cindy) of Smoot, WV and Debbie Williams (Dane) of Cape Coral; her siblings, Dorothy Hetzel of Crossfield, TN, Tim Rotenberry (Delphine White) of Cooksville, TN, Richard Rotenberry of Princeton, WV and David Rotenberry of Charleston, WV; her grandchildren, Michelle Kish (James Rush), Michael Kish, Adam Bolden, Jenica Greynolds (Brian), Melissa Roark (Chad), Christina Webster (Ryan), Mary Epperly (Darren) and Matthew Mullins; her stepgrandchildren, Timothy Acord (Beth), Travis Williams (Anastasiya), Tiffany Whitt (Steven), Tristen Ratliff, Matt Felber, Thomas O'Dell, Tanner O'Dell, Jewelia Canaday (Jared), Logan Shrewsbery (Myah), Kameron Shrewsbery and Preslie Shrewsbery; and her niece Darlene (Willy Beachboard). She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wilkinson Funeral Home (100 Branchview Dr NE, Concord, NC 28025). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Friday, January 10th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Roselawn Memorial Gardens (450 Courthouse Rd, Princeton, WV 24740).
