Barbara J. Shultz Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Barbara J. Shultz of Concord, North Carolina, born in Waynesburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 1, 2024 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

Though Barbara may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Barbara touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.

She was predeceased by: her parents, David Franklin Cumberledge, Jr. and Ellen Jean Dunn Cumberledge. She is survived by: her husband James Howard Shultz; her son Shawn D. (Kristina Rae Shultz) of Concord, NC; her grandchildren, Emily Shultz, Skylar Shultz, Chase Shultz and Raegan Shultz; and her sister Vickie (Lynn Brewer) of Waynesburg, PA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest memorials be made to the Humane Society of Greene County 183 Jefferson Road, Waynesburg, PA 15370 or to the ASPCA.
