It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ashlyn Barrier of Concord, North Carolina, who passed away on May 16, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Laughlin and Doris Wood Laughlin; her husband Lewis F. Barrier; and her brother Jimmy Laughlin. She is survived by: her daughter Cynthia Barrier of Dallas, Texas; her grandson Taylor Shinn, Jr.; her sister Betsy Sloop; her niece Tammy Miller of Concord; and her nephew Chip Sloop of Durham.
